For people who love numbers that grow
The One Incremental
An incremental game about bringing infinity down to zero, one One at a time.
A free game in the browser, on your phone too. You hire a team of erasers, unlock upgrades and keep finding new ways to bring down a number that refuses to go down. Development happens in the open: on Discord you can follow it up close and have your say on what comes next.

How it started
I've always loved games made of numbers and logic. The One started in 2024 as a small incremental game: one of those games where a number grows, you reinvest it, and you find out there was one more level than you thought.
In 2026 it became two things. A game with a story of its own, told with the dry irony of an office that records the impossible with administrative precision. And a separate engine that runs it, built so that other people can make their own.
The pencil-style illustrations, cut out like stickers, give the game its character.
What you find as you play
An absurd task, taken seriously
An office that records the impossible with administrative precision. Brief instructions and dry humour.
Numbers that never run out
They grow far beyond what a calculator can write. You choose how to read them: compact or scientific notation.
Discoveries along the way
New possibilities emerge as you play. Finding them is part of the game.
The game moves on even when you're away
When you come back, the game recovers the time that has passed, up to 24 hours, with a progress bar that shows you the catch-up.
Characters that talk back
Tap the illustrations to read each character's quips.
Your saves are yours
Your game lives in your browser, and from the settings you can download it as a file and import it into the game in another browser.
The engine and the people around it
The game is the visible part. Underneath there's an engine anyone can use, and a place to talk about it.

The One Engine
The engine that runs the game, written in TypeScript. Build an incremental around your own rules: resources, producers, upgrades and prestige. The engine moves it forward in time, handles giant numbers and offline progress, and a simulated player tries it before you do, to show you where progress slows down.

The One Builder
The online workshop for the same engine: start from an example that works, define your economy and run simulated players to see where it holds and where it stalls. There's a demo you can try in the browser, no account needed.

How it's built
The rules of the game live apart from its interface: they're data the engine uses to advance the game. That lets me simulate every balance change before it ships, with the same simulated player anyone using the engine gets.
Everything I learn building the game goes back into the engine, and from there to whoever builds with it.
Where it stands
The One Incremental is online and free, and it keeps evolving: in October 2026 version 0.0.1 was released, with what's new explained inside the game. The engine is open source under the MIT license, with an online manual; the Builder has a public demo.
